Habitat: Bovine, Equine Dung and Enriched Soils
Climate: Subtropical
Strain Origin: Colombia, South America
Cap: diameter of 50 + mm, campanulate, gold-brown to yellow. The surface is dry and lacks universal veil remnants on the cap (spots). Flesh-white bruising bluish green shortly. The caps do not normally develop and suffer from decreased spore production. Due to the fact that only 10-25% of visible spore prints produced by mushrooms and laboratories can create only a few large specimens, spores are difficult to obtain in volume.
Stem: length of 125-275 mm, sometimes bulbous, contorted near the base, pale yellow to buff. The skin was wounded by bluish-green bruising. On the stem surface, no persistent annulus can be distinguished, but an annular zone.
Gills: Annexed attachment, very similar, underdeveloped. In young fruit bodies, the grayish coloration darkens marginally in age.
Spores: few but dark purple brown in volume, subellipsoid on basidia 4-spored
Comments: Spores are subjected to a 3 + week heat therapy regime from a source culture engineered to remove Agaricus bisporus viral infections. Although there was no “strong” proof that a virus had ever infected the Penis Envy strain, the therapy seems to have had some beneficial results. Unfortunately, spore quality has not increased significantly.

However, the mushroom spore prints are made of sterile foil, which is under refrigeratary conditions in a sterile ziplock container. A tiny scratch of spores can be in separation from each spore print. A test run on agar or liquid culture is carried out with this swab to verify the spore conditions. Only germinating spores are as an imprint.
How to store a Muhsroom spore print
Moreover, hold the chilled spore print between 2*C-8*C Celsius or 35*F-46*F Fahrenheit. It is possible to preserve a mushroom spore print for years when it is refrigerated.
